The AIM Hospitalist Advisory Board was formed in September of 2011. They meet quarterly with the focus of developing best practices, collectively finding solutions to hospital medicine challenges and providing the best experience for patients during their hospital stay.

Abdulelah AbuQuare MD- Davis Hospital Hospitalist Medical Director Abdul AbuQare M.D, attended medical school at the University of Jordan, Amman-Jordan. He did his Internal Medicine residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and was chosen as a chief resident during his last year of residency. He practiced in Las Vegas for 6 years, including as an assistant professor of medicine at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine for more than 2 years. He also served as an assistant medical director for an HMO health plan and helped establish a new market for another one. He is fascinated by medical economics and the administrative aspect of medicine, but especially enjoys perioperative care. Golf is definitely something he would like to be more proficient at, but only time will tell.

Matthew Agresta, MD Jordan Valley Medical Center Hospitalist Medical Director Matthew Agresta, MD is a Family Physician who serves as medical director of the Jordan Valley Medical Center Hospitalist program. Dr. Agresta, the 7th of 10 children, grew up in New York and went to Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2003 and then completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Utah in 2006. Dr. Agresta spent his first 3 years of practice in an underserved clinic in West Valley City before joining the hospitalist program at Jordan Valley Medical Center. His interests outside of medicine include bicycling, skiing, triathlons, home-improvement projects and most of all, spending time with his family.
